Colonial Pipe Box
Colonial Pipe Box
In many colonial New England homes, one could find a pipe box. These were used to hold the long clay pipes common in the day. Of course, now they make an attractive container for candles.
When the grid goes down and the lights go out, you will be ready with candles. Don’t forget matches in the little drawer!
Many of the originals were crude and very utilitarian. This one is anything but crude; built with cherry with a nice hand rubbed finish.
